The Hemlock saddle starter kit contains everything your need to get started hunting. This kit includes the Hemlock saddle, tree tether, and lineman belt. The ropes come fully equipped with a true one-hand adjustable design comparable to a mechanical ascender. Our unique hitch tender offers smooth operation by equally applying pressure to all sides of the friction knot, unlike any tender on the market.

Hemlock Saddle Features + Specs

Sterling Milspec Webbing: The core of the saddle is comprised of 1 inch tubular nylon webbing that is rated for 4000 lbs. Made in Biddeford Maine, USA.

Hex-70 Fabric: A Ripstop nylon designed specifically for higher strength durability and abrasion resistance, this lightweight, water resistant fabric provides the key weight savings and the quiet use other fabrics can’t match.

AustriAlpin Cobra Belt Buckle: Only the best would do for the Hemlock, and that is why we chose the AustriAlpin Cobra® Prostyle – dual adjustable buckle. With a minimum guaranteed load capacity of 18kN (4047 Lbs), this buckle will not let you down. Made in Fulpmes, Austria.

Custom G-Hooks: We weren’t satisfied with the available options for leg strap G-Hooks, so we designed our own. Constructed with 3/16″ aluminum, these buckles are heavy duty. Made in Grand Rapids Michigan, USA.

Hammock Style Design: In an effort to distribute pressure evenly over a larger area, the hemlock was designed with four load straps which function together to form three distinct panels for maximum comfort and adjustability. It’s simple, spreading the force over 4 straps, distributes weight more evenly than two.

Integrated Bridge: The saddle flows seamlessly into a layered webbing bridge which offers redundancy for safety and simplicity. This design element gives you the ability to disperse the weight throughout the saddle creating a more comfortable experience and eliminating a need for an adjustable bridge.

Adjustable Lumbar Support: The hemlock is the first saddle to offer a built-in support panel above the waist belt. This means your safety hardware can stay put on your hips, while the upper panel supports your lower back. The dedicated lower back support strap is fully adjustable so you can enjoy unlimited positions throughout the hunt while minimizing back fatigue. This feature eliminates the need for a separate back band which means there is one less thing to carry into the woods.
